Sustainability? A piece of cake for Luonkos
18.07.2022 - Virgin Fibre Cartonboard, Customer Stories
For the packaging of its handmade and natural facial cleansers, Luonkos relies on sustainable packaging materials from MM Board & Paper.
Traditionally, cosmetics are often packaged in plastic materials that are difficult or impossible to recycle. Luonkos is a pioneer in the use of natural Finnish raw materials: the facial cleansing series consists of 100% natural ingredients such as native clay, oats, birch and nettles. It is therefore not surprising that when it comes to the choice of packaging material, ALASKA® BARRIER and ISLA® Duo, which are manufactured at our Finnish plant MM Kotkamills, are a perfect match. Thanks to the packaging, plastic pollution is avoided and it even does not require glue due to the well thought-out folding of the box, which was awarded bronze at the Gold Leaf international competition for its unique folding effect. The ALASKA® BARRIER used for the lid of the packaging is not only an easily recyclable material, but also allows excellent printability and offers the best finishing properties.
The natural and high-quality materials reflect Luonkos as a brand committed to producing natural cosmetics for everyone.
