Cartonboard for deep drawing has a smooth surface resulting from a special treatment. Thanks to the added flexibility and formability, it is possible to “deep draw” the carton and thus provide the desired shape. Of course, deep drawing cartonboard complies with the strict legal requirements for direct food contact.
